Bovine without chromium is soft and light. Coming from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), the skin undergoes an innovative tanning process, chrome -free, heavy metals or dangerous acids. By simplifying the procedure of the tanning, the use of chemicals is limited and energy consumption is reduced by 40% for water and 80% for salt. After the tanning, the water is recyclable. Chrome -free skin is used for the entire child collection.
The suede derives from the lower part of the previously brushed cattle to make it softer and flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). The skin is tanned in Brazil, in compliance with the Reach regulation. Special attention is reserved for the use of water in the tanning process. The suede is also spread with water -repellent oils without PFC (perfluoring compound) to protect the sneakers from the drizzle.
