Suede is obtained from the lower part of the previously brushed cattle to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil, without the use of dangerous or prohibited chemicals. Veja uses conventional dyes compliant with regulations. Particular attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process. Sleeping skin is also covered with water -repellent oils without PFC (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain.
